On behalf of the pupils… staff and governors I would like to warmly welcome you to our website. I hope that your visit is informative and gives you an insight into the learning that takes place in our school and the values and vision which underpin it.

At St. Anne’s we are committed to providing a consistently safe, positive, rewarding and happy learning environment. Every child has the opportunity to meet the Motto-Living and Learning in harmony with Christ. We have high expectations for the children in our care and aim to encourage them to learn, develop and grow into responsible, caring adults within a climate of respect, warmth and understanding, following our 5Rs (RESPECTFUL, RESOURCEFUL, RESPONSIBLE, RESILIENT AND READY LEARNERS).

Each week we celebrate our children’s achievements during our Praise Assembly, our monthly newsletter and our regularly updated Facebook page. Our children are encouraged to be caring and supportive to everyone and to develop confidence, independence and resilience. We recognise at St. Anne’s that all children have been gifted by God with different talents, skills, personalities and potential. This uniqueness is nurtured, catered for and celebrated regardless of culture, creed, class, colour or need. This is a strength that was recognised by Ofsted (June 2016) and our RE Inspection (2015).

As a Catholic community of pupils, parents, staff and parish we work together to create an environment that enables our children to realise their potential and to confidently grow into fulfilled and rounded adults who will make a worthy contribution to the world in which we live.

We look forward to working with you and hope that you find the information that you are looking for on our website. Please feel free to contact the school direct with any queries you may have. My door is always open.

**Foodbank update**
Wirral Council and community food providers have come together to make sure vulnerable residents don’t go hungry during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Feeding Birkenhead, Supporting Wirral, Wirral Foodbank and other third sector food providers, are coordinating efforts and centralising their bulk food collection and distribution operations at a new Emergency Food Hub, managed by Wirral Council.

Residents experiencing difficulties in accessing food can visit www.wirral.gov.uk/foodhelp to submit their details online using a simple form or call the Wirral Coronavirus Helpline (0151 666 5050, Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm). Using the website is recommended as the helpline is very busy.
