Headteachers Welcome

Headteachers Welcome
to St Anne’s Primary School

It is with great pleasure that I welcome you to the St. Anne’s Catholic Primary School website. Here you can start to discover what makes St. Anne’s such a special place, why children love it here and why they remember it with such affection after they have left.

St Anne’s is a warm, welcoming school with currently 261 children on roll. We are a one-form entry Primary School and provide an excellent 2 year old provision as well as pre-school and a popular before/ after school club (STARS-ST ANNES RANGERS)on site offering full-time wrap around flexible care.

St Anne’s is an inclusive faith school in the heart of the community of Rock Ferry and we welcome all families and children into our community. It is a Good (Ofsted 2020) school filled with a buzz of happy activity and the warmth of positive relationships between pupils and adults. The children are taught a broad and balanced curriculum by passionate, dedicated and skilful practitioners.
Yet, St. Anne’s is about so much more than that; it is about our Catholic faith that teaches children to follow the example of Jesus. It is about giving everyone the opportunity to shine, be their best self and be resilient, having the confidence to have a go at anything and the belief that you can succeed. We continue to teach the children to work harmoniously with each other.

Our school has a nurturing environment and strives to be a place of acceptance and respect for the beliefs of others and a sense of pride when others do well. It is about the fun, magic and laughter of school life and the making of all those memories that last.

Our 5Rs are embedded throughout our school and we aim for all our children to leave St Anne’s with these qualities and values:

Respect, Resilience, Reliable, Responsible, Reflective

We would take great pleasure in showing you around our lovely school – please contact the school office for an appointment and enjoy having a look around our school website.

All Blessings

Mrs Lorraine Prescott
