Our School Day
to St Anne’s Primary School

8.30 – 9.00 – Children come into school either through main entrance or EY entrance or KS1 entrance.

Calm and Connect will take place in each classroom. This allows the class teacher to welcome the children into class and check-in providing a soft landing.

9.00 – 9.30 – Guided reading

During this time the class teacher and TA will both work with a group on guided reading whilst the other groups have access to IDL Literacy/Maths,
Times Table Rock star or a phonics/maths activity.

9.30 – 10.20 –Lesson 1

10.20 – 10.35 – KS1 Break

10.30 – 10.45 – LKS2 Break

10.50 – 11.05 – UKS2 Break

10.35 – 12.00 – Lesson 2 and 3

12.00 – 1.00 – Lunch

This is split into 3 sections;

20 minutes mindful movement

20 minutes outdoors

20 minutes dining

1.00– 1.30 – Handwriting/Happy mind Monday

1.30 – 2.30 – Lesson 4
